Dr Amita Jain is a highly experienced Senior General, Laparoscopic, Laser Surgeon, and Proctologist based in Delhi, with 30+ years of surgical experience and a record of 1,00,000+ surgical procedures. She is an AIIMS Post-Doctoral Fellow in Trauma & Critical Care and a former Professor of Surgery at the Army College of Medical Sciences and Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. She currently serves as Professor of Surgery at Rama Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Hapur Campus, Delhi-NCR.
Her expertise includes advanced laparoscopic surgery, trauma and emergency surgery, abdominal and gastrointestinal procedures, reconstructive surgery, and advanced laser proctology. She specialises in minimally invasive treatment for gallbladder stones, appendix, hernias, piles, fissure, fistula, and pilonidal sinus, along with thyroid, breast, wound, flap, and cyst/lipoma procedures.
As an experienced Proctologist in Delhi, Dr Jain uses US FDA-approved diode laser technology for selected piles, fissure, fistula, and pilonidal sinus procedures, focusing on minimally invasive and sphincter-preserving techniques where clinically appropriate.
